The history of Donia dates back to 2001, when with a small resources but big idea starts Turkish delight production. After this first idea of producing and selling Turkish delight, Donia continuously increases the number of product types and number of buyers in Macedonia and abroad. Nowadays Donia is a modern, fast-growing company. Priority is the product that corresponds to the high world standards, produced with contemporary technology and made by the best skilled workman.

HACCP and ISO 22000

HACCP stands for Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. Our vision is closely connected to good manufacturing practice and danger analysis, because of our first priority, and that is costumers' health and wellbeing. All our working processes are carefully monitored from the income of the row materials, production line, packaging and transportation of our products. We care for our customers because we believe in long term cooperation, partnership and mutual satisfaction.
ISO 22000 integrates HACCP principles and requests developed by Codex Alimentarius Commission. There are certain similarities with ISO 9001:2008, and comparation will reveal that big part of the disciplines include need for efficient process management. This is prove enough for our professional oriented work, continuous improvement and costumer oriented organization.
National award for social responsibility 2009

"To give" equals "To have", is the simplest example for the modern concept for Social responsible companies. Corporate social responsibility in meaning of human and altruistic look toward society is new, but nessesary dimension of modern and successfull companies.
Simplest definition for corporate - social responsibility is inclusion of the company in resolving the needs and the problems of the society, or taking care of the enviroment. This implicates that company is much more responsible to the society and enviroment, and by its example it makes positive impact to the way other companies work.
Donia gained national price (recognition) for social responsibility in the fiel of work with human labor inside the company, that is contributed by last year second national price for Human resource development. This is one more reason to see what Donia represents nowdays in Macedonia.

Human resource development is most important precondition for successful adaptation to "time of information". Companies that grow (or plan to grow), need immediately to invest in their human labor.
Human, as a resource is the most important component for every company or institution. People, are the ones that make changes end make company grow. With their intellectual capacity, their motives, creativity can make various changes that can provide individual and company growth.
Donia won the second national price for human resource development in 2008. Price was given by the Human Resource Development Fund. (HRDF)

Design is one of the most important issues when we think about first impression that you get for one product. As one of the most important parts, design is the first thing that is seen by the costumer.
Design is a specific for every product and in some ways it is say more about its inside, the value or in some cases what costumer likes to see on the design itself.In last decade, design of the outside normally as well as the quality of the product are one of the main reasons for the costumer to decide what product bill be bought.
This is one of the reasons that the same products with different design are selling better than the same product in regular design. Donia as a professional and modern company tries to show professionalism also in the field of better design ideas for the products.
Prove enough for this capacity is the "GOLDEN SUN OF THE YEAR" - national price for best design in 2002.
Fairs

Donia often takes part in more local and international fairs. Mostly we present our products on fairs that are organized in Macedonia or former Yugoslav republics because we are more familiar with consumers in this area. Regularly we take part in AGROFOOD fair in Skopje the capital of Macedonia. Fairs are good places to see and find more partner companies, more interested consumers for our products and to see what is new in confectionary field in Macedonia and nearby countries.
